Carlisle Army Heritage Center
If you want a great hands on education visit the Carlisle Army Heritage Center. I need to review many pictures I've take there over this past year and get a few posted. Many events are held throughout the year that have you remembering your Social Studies classes. From the Revolutionary War till current conflicts it's all covered. Go in a WWI ditch or a WWII village just after visiting a Civil War camp over near the French and Indian War exhibits. Be sure to venture here when the reenactors are in full regalia and they'll offer you even greater insight. All in my own back yard and it's even free!
