Old Phone

No dial, no buttons, no coins.

What's older?
Tin cans and a string?

Old Pay Phone

I recently came across this old pay phone.
Does anyone have two dimes?
After you insert the dimes where's the push buttons?
Where can I swipe my credit card?

Washington Monument

It's February.
It's the month that two of our most famous Presidents were born.
This monument is the tribute to our first president.

Ford - Mustangs

Red and White?

White and Red?

What's your preference?
I'm thinking the red and white would win based solely on the 'Shelby' name.

Daisy - one year later...

It's been a year now of new collars, new toys, cozy dog beds, puppy kisses,
and puppy greetings.  Daisy came as a surprise (to me).  After two plus years
of being pet-less (after a 22 year pet friendly home prior to that), I was comfortable
to not have the mess, the cleaning, the worry of a pet.
I turn 50 and to save the confrontation of acquiring a new dog
on that day my wonderful husband and daughter plan on
selecting our new dog the day after my birthday so I can't remind
them of this for the next 10 or so years.
Do I occasionally remind them of this crazy event?

As always time moved on and guess who now loves this little creature?
It's been lots of fun and quite entertaining.
She rarely leaves my side and is always ready for a walk
and even a run. (I question why I do this)
She gets away with numerous things that our other two dogs
were never allowed to do.  Is this old age?
Yes my husband and daughter have been forgiven (because I was set on the no more
pets policy in my mind).  They better not have any other plans........

Super Bowl in New Orleans

Slowly crossing The Causeway Bridge for 26 miles NOLA appears in the distance.
The Super Dome graces one side of the city and the Crescent City Bridge
graces the other side.

The city is alive with the party atmosphere with the biggest stage today as
the NFL gets ready for the Super Bowl.
Right at the next corner the celebration of Mardi Gras is prevalent.

The St. Louis Cathedral is one of many places in the city where the hustle
and bustle is non-stop.

On this day a storm was brewing as we were dashing to the car for cover.

As in any city I'm sure the traffic is the one thing that gives way to snarls.
The easiest way to get around any time is the quaint street cars.

All the action will take place here.
The Super Dome will be the host to
The Baltimore Ravens and The San Francisco 49ers.
May the best brother coach or rather team win!

What are other around the world up to?

Car Show 2013

James Bond?
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?
Al Capone's?
Bonnie and Clyde?

It wasn't the Detroit Car Show or the New York City Car Show
so we had to use the local modeling crew straight from the snow.
