Pick me up of the day

It wasn't an all around good day by any measure but I did find something to get a chuckle. This is the door lock to the bathroom stall door where I work. For some time it made me laugh and probably had others wondering what was going on...... I had to get a snap to share with you here. What a clever name!

30 Hour Famine 2010

Our house was 'flocked' today by The Good Shepherd Youth Group.

It's that time of year to support the 30-hour famine sponsered by World Vision.

The animals in our yard were hit by 'mad cow', 'chicken pox', and 'swine flu'.

For a one time vaccination fee of $20 we can ensure our yard isn't flocked again. To have the ailments treated with the possibility of another outbreak is only $10. For only $5 we can choose to share the flocking with others. Be on the lookout!

Another busy year.... Another busy month.....Another busy day......

About the only subject I have the opportunity to snap recently is my daughter. She keeps me from being a homebody, a couch potato, and a lazy bum. Nearly every day is filled with an activity and sometimes those activities overlap. This by no means is a complaint but I'd like to try the role of homebody, couch potato or lazy bum for a day or two a month.

I love old barns and farm houses. Anyone who takes the time and care of these

old places deserves a clap. I suppose at some point cost comes into the equation.....
