New Orleans
Getting ready to head back to the Big Easy. My son is a college student at The University of New Orleans on the banks of Lake Ponchartrain. Every time I've been down there's been a new discovery. The food, the people, the music, the sports, the river, the swamps and the great architecture is amazing. My son is a baseball player and has fallen in love with Nawlin's! We'll drive the 17 hours get him settled in and fly back to Pennsylvania. I was hesitant on seeing my son go to New Orleans after Katrina hit but the experiences he's had have all been good. He's made friends to last a life time and has become a mature young man taking care of himself.
