New Brunswick, Canada

It was time to say good bye to Canada, but not before we encountered this
little guy getting ready for the upcoming Winter.

Canada is a land of beauty around every bend in the road.
I hope to return soon for another great adventure!

What else is going on around the world?

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunkwick ~ Demoiselle Beach

Along the path to Demoiselle Beach.  You can begin to see the salt flats.

The salt flats looked so desolate and other worldly.
I must return to see this area filled with ocean water to get a whole other perspective.

The mud was the kind that if you attempted to walk through it you'd lose your shoes!

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick

Many call these rocks,
the flower pot rocks.

Erosion art!

Wouldn't it be fun to glide through here in a kayak when the tide is in?

It's a little eerie to walk under the natural arch.

Can you see the teddy bear rock?

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick ~ The Ocean floor!

Walking down on the ocean floor left you feeling like you were in another land.

Water is an artist.
Not all artists are people!

The Ocean Floor!
Just a few hours prior to this picture there was over 30 feet of water
on top of this floor.
Pressure!?

Doesn't it feel like a troll is about to make an appearance?

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick, Canada

This was the first time I trekked down to the rocks.  You can see the water lapping
onto the muddy shoreline.  The tide was on its way out and the fog was hovering
all across the Bay of Fundy.

This was the second time I made the trek about an hour later than the picture above.
The tide had moved out further.

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick

On the path way to find Hopewell Rocks at The Bay of Funday,
you pass through Fern Gully!

Before you get to all the rocks you get a sneak peek.
We were arriving when the tide was on its way out, but you can see the marks
on the rocks where the tide was!

The Bay of Funday's claim to fame?
The highest tides in the world!

Just following the path to Hopewell Rocks, is an adventure
in itself!
I loved the way this picture was a little out of focus in the
tree tops.  It gave you a sense of a fairytale.

Reversing Falls - Saint John, New Brunswick

The Reversing Falls on the Saint John River in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
The blues and greens couldn't have been more prevelant!
From this point of view the rapids don't look too daunting, but up close
is quite a different look.
The Bay of Fundy helps to make this phenomena possible.

Half the day the river pours into The Bay of Fundy and the other half of the day
The Bay of Fundy pours into the river.

The water was mesmerizing.
The sound was more than I had anticipated.
