O Canada!

Entering Canada the skies were

 forlorn,

 unhappy, sad, miserable, sorrowful, dejected, despondent,

disconsolate, wretched, abject, downcast, dispirited,downhearted,

 crestfallen, depressed, melancholy, gloomy, glum,mournful,

 despairing, doleful, woebegone

eerie, 

uncanny, sinister, ghostly, unnatural, unearthly,

 supernatural, and otherworldly.

We then passed the arches (below) and I knew all was clear and well!
