?? It was 90 degrees. The sheep hadn't been shorn. I know there's a reason and I'm betting I missed reading about the reason, but I know there is a reason... Could it be? KKK sheep? Do they really shun the baa baa black sheep in the year 2010?

Another year of Vacation Bible School! We had a great time learning about The Armor of God. A few of the kids are missing in the picture above because of shyness or tiredness. It was an exhausting week but a very successful week. Thanks to many volunteers and the special help from some great teenagers everyone had a great time!

A favorite for 35+ years

As I journeyed around the beach town each morning I checked out the residents diggs. For the past 35+ years this one has been at the top of my list. It's not big and forboding but it's quaint and charming and well-kept. Maybe it's the gum drop trees out front that give it curb appeal. Maybe it's the views (below) across the street that capture my eye. I do so love the front room where the many french doors open to let in the ocean breezes. In the evening the lighting gives it an extra ahhhh.

Beach Week 2010

Yet another great beach week has come and gone. A good time was had by all. There was of course sunning, napping (luging), eating, shopping, laughing, and story telling, did I mention napping.... Over the past 35+ years we've enjoyed staying at the same small place. To our dismay we pulled in this year to a For Sale sign. (we're hoping it won't sell!) It's a crowded week but one filled with memories. Of course there's the yearly picture in front of the infamous tree. Why? Because it's there!

I can't believe yet another season has passed by. This year we were lucky to win the most annoying uniform award. It was a rainy season with many postphonements. I must say we've been blessed by having a great group of girls whom get along with one another. The coaches also were great with the girls. I've seen some other teams with 'teenage' girls and I'm glad and blessed for the teams we had. They may not have won every game but they sure looked good and were the most cheerful bunch encountered.

Home of the Triple A team of the Philadelphia Phillies. It's located in Allentown, PA. It's a new ball park that opened in 2008 and exceeds expectations for a great ball park. It features a 360 degree concourse and fills almost to capacity for every game. We arrived early and were one of the last to leave. We escorted Ryan Volgelsong's (Pitcher) grandparents for a terrific night at the ball field.

As the sun set there were comfortable temperatures, great seats and even greater company. We ended the evening waiting for Ryan and keeping the grounds keeper from being lonely. Thanks for a memorable evening!
