The buds are there...

Buds are pushing through! After a tease of some beautiful warm days we are experiencing some coolllldddd wind. Spring decides when to come and stay all on its own. Thankfully the sun provided a little warmth. Before long all those buds will be full grown leaves providing us with shade and yet another pretty picture of green.

It has sprung!

Yes it has sprung! SPRING!

Although today is rainy and a little dreary Spring has arrived. It has arrived with a weekend to cheer everyone with beautiful weather for biking, walking, and of course softball and baseball!

1-2-3 spells anything? You can't question an ardent fan in the middle of their chant. Even though we couldn't make sense out of it somehow it has become our chant to the batter. Girls softball season heats up next week. I'm so proud of my daughter for making the high school team as a pitcher. I would never have undertaken this position. I would've been happy as left bench warmer! Good luck to her and the team. Win lose or draw enjoy every moment because before you know it time will fly by.

I'm thinking it's time for another cruise. I found this adorable little churh on the island of Aruba during our last cruise. Quaint is a good way to describe it. Maybe I'm just thinking beautiful weather?

If you're having a bad day......

When things are running amuck in your life just bring this great group of teens into your home. It was a bad weekend after an even worse week at work and I was fortunate enough to be blessed by these three lovely teenagers. Hearing them laugh, sing, bowl, and just being theirselves made me smile. They are sometimes pretty rough one one another but in the end they get along and are just pretty cool to be around. Thanks for the uplift ya'll!!

Rock and Roll

Okay who turned the calendar to March and didn't tell me?

Above are some of the reasons why I just can't keep up with my life. BUT, I wouldn't change it for all the tea in China. Does anyone really know how much tea China really has? These rockers spent "all night long".... rockin it on a chair or on Rock Band on the Wii or Xbox. They were raising money towards going on a mission trip this coming Summer. It started loud and with a ruckus but it ended very quietly. They all attended church in their pajamas! And to think some worry they aren't spiffed up enough to attend church! God doesn't care what you're weaing he is just glad you show up to worship together.

And I still want to know how did March get here so soon?
