Guest Blog!
Hello!
I am todays guest blogger. Also Iam Hollys daughter, Sam. Todays post is about my lovely friend, Katrina. I met her in seventh grade and we have been great friends since. She is my moms "other daughter." We love watching Disney movies together. Sleeping Beauty is our favorite. She reminds me a lot of Princess Arora. The great thing about being best friends with Katrina is that we always have fun. No matter what she always cheers me up. She has a blog also. You can visit it at http://hockerk.blogspot.com/ She has amazing photographs of her and her friends.

2010 New Orleans Baseball
The 2010 Baseball season has begun. I wish each of the boys on the University of New Orleans baseball team lots of luck and joy. Win or lose they all are living their dreams from back when they were 6 or 7 years old. There has been struggles and victories along the pathway but when they all reach 40 or 50 years old they'll look back with fondness on every moment. I pray for each one of them along with their family members sitting there through the sun and rain, cold and hot, happy and sad days and wins and losses. To the parents they all are still our 6 0r 7 year olds and through our eyes we love them no matter the outcome. Great luck to them all!

Laissez les bons temps rouler
Let the Good Times Roll !
Ready for the party!
le violet purple (justice) * l'or gold (power)l * e vert green (faith)
My Creole Princess.
The city of New Orleans is ready. It's been nothing short of a party for weeks now. With all of the celebrations of the Saints ( Who DAT!!!!) and now following behind it a grand Mardi Gras hoopla! The parades have been in full force in the many different neighborhoods and the beads have been flying. NOLA is definitely back on the map.

Move it back....
The second major snow storm in less than a week has prompted everyone to 'Get out There'! Oh my aching back. Oh my aching shoulders, Oh my acing arms is the lament. It's been many years since we've encountered this much snow. Thank heavens for global warming! If anyone from the Olympics comittee is looking for a few good piles of snow to get ready for the events in Vancouver check out our ad on Craigslist!!

Just Ducky
They're taking bets on who will win the Super Bowl.
Who Dat!
Do you think the ducks like to go sledding too?
I think they've made their own sledding path.
See the duck by the tree getting ready to take his turn!
Maybe they're gearing up for the Olympics next week!

Is the light on?
Of course we just happen to 'need' the regular Pennsylvania Snow Storm essentials.
We trekked to the grocery store for bread, milk and eggs. I can only imagine everyone at home in the middle of the flakes falling making french toast! My only thought to all this is....did they make stuffed french toast or just the ole regular syrupy kind?

My daughter was checking if the milk and eggs were safely in place and she also was wondering...will that light stay on when I close the door?
