Before we turned and entered The Citadel high on the hill we took another look
out across the harbor. Although the rain clouds were hanging low we spotted a
lighthouse in the distance.
Is it protecting the small island it's located on or the whole Halifax harbor?
We turn and were ready to enter The Citadel.
We were met by a somber looking young mans standing guard in full regalia.
Later in the day we got to speak to him and he was helpful in relaying
the history located inside these walls.
From inside The Citadel there was yet another view of the Halifax harbor and the city itself.
[Come back the next few days for lots more on The Citadel!]
